My fear has been taken away from me
I feel ashamed of who I used to be
torn between everyone and everything
I just can't see why you still
think i'm not the one you need
The time has come for me to be
what you won't expect to see
For you, for me
one by one we slip away
not to be lead astray
And we have all been there
unclean and unprepared the same
waiting for the time to unravel
and then show you everything
what has become of us
now that we believe
what you have shown to us is
everything that we receive
every road leads to this place
don't pretend to walk away
fortunes made was our mistake
change your ways
but is it too late?
i'm not astray
no, i'm not astray

Not Even The Stars

Not even the stars transcend the impending perishing of the moon.
Fraught with contempt, the sun is birthed over a stillborn world
that none can comprehend.
no
not even the stars.

Calling Out
04:11
|
|||
I try to hold on alone
convinced that I will never know
calling out, i cry to you
looking down I follow through
Now you wait to be understood
and you'd pray for it if you could
when nothing reflects in your eyes
the dreamer's asleep, no surprise
torn away, all is gone
feeling low
i can't go on believing in something that isn't there
falling down, i stop and stare
dreamer, they're calling you out

Give up the rights for signs of life
Entwine between the time inside
But it has to work out, doesn't it?
Better travel is best for the matter is last
on a list that's been trampled a bit now
is there reason enough for action?
can there at least be a reason?
Train your eyes to decide
it's not for you to realize
go back for more of the same
Slow up, sit down, or time it right
between the eyes that see sometimes
last moment to try
savor it
connections remain deservedly mundane
the same as a ghost without a haunt
am I enough to blame?
can there at least be a reason?
It's paranormal but i'm scared of the light
not every reason is a reason to fight
it's paranormal and I'm reading it right
no other reason will be needed tonight

Reason
05:49
|
|||
Hold out for morning
See the light reminds the fog to keep reforming
just to rain a little more
it's roaming
leave a trail in the paper
never going to break down the door
one, only
nothing left to give
a precious innuendo
excuses to live
you're my one, only
reason i'm around
can't take it back
can't pick me up off the ground
still time for mourning
i'm in need of suits and ties.
a fashion forming where the blood once was
i need you to take me back time and again
to play back the past in my head
